Together, we extended this beach house renovation beyond its walls, creating a backyard space that felt just as intentional and inviting as the home itself - designed for long afternoons, spontaneous drop-ins and nights gathered around the fire.
Developed exclusively for Eclectic Escape, the custom colour used on the Stilla shed was designed to sit effortlessly within the landscape. For a limited time, this colour is available across select Stilla shed designs, bringing the same considered finish to your own backyard.
Located on the Central Coast of New South Wales, Eclectic Escape is a much-loved family beach house - a place of summer memories, sandy feet and long-held traditions.
It’s where the family escapes the city, slows down and settles into holiday mode.
Once full of charm, the home was weather-worn and compromised by internal water damage after a tree fell through the roof. It lacked the space and flow needed for entertaining - something central to how the family lived and holidayed.
What they needed wasn’t just a refresh, but a rethinking of how the home worked - inside and out.
At Stilla, we believe outdoor spaces deserve the same design consideration as the home itself. While the interior renovation transformed how the house felt, it was the backyard that changed how it was used.
A custom Stilla shed extended the renovation beyond the house - turning an empty yard into a multifunctional space designed for real holiday living. Now home to a backyard bar, storage and a firepit zone, it creates space for gathering, lingering and long nights spent outdoors.

Yes. Real estate agents often recommend cedar studios and sheds to sellers because the added value typically outweighs the investment.
No problem. The heavy-duty floor kit includes treated pine posts (750 mm) that can be adjusted to create a level base. For sites with significant slope, Stilla can provide longer posts or alternative solutions.
It’s not essential, but highly recommended. Without a coating, cedar naturally weathers to a silver-grey finish without losing strength or durability.
Not if you choose the heavy-duty floor kit, it can be installed directly onto uneven ground. If you already have a slab, the studio can be assembled directly onto it.
Cedar is naturally termite resistant, and the internal framing is treated pine, making termite damage highly unlikely. In the rare case it occurs, the studio is covered under Stilla’s 10-year warranty.
Yes. Each kit is supplied with pre-assembled panels that simply screw together, designed to make installation as smooth as possible.
